The Aquatics Instructor will assume partial management of group lessons and will work closely with the Aquatics Manager to ensure group lessons are scheduled and correctly organized.  This individual will also work to ensure student and parent-satisfaction and provide the highest level of service. This is a P/T position and hours can vary.   Most needed currently are evening hours during the week.   Compensation based on experience. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and distribute working group lesson schedules

  • Ensure each class is staffed, monitor staff’s needs through the sessions

  • Schedule and facilitate training sessions for staff every other month

  • Audit group lessons to ensure all are paid for, are enjoyable and effective

  • Create flyers and assist with marketing efforts

  • Assume responsibility for shifts that are not covered.

  • Remain the primary point of contact for group lesson staff at all times (on and offsite).

  • Develop improvement plans based on student and parent feedback.

  • Create group lesson staff training programs and events.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

At minimum a high school diploma 

 

 CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

This position requires a First Aid certificate, a CPR certification is preferred.
