Central Bethany Development seeks a full time qualified and efficient Pool Operator to join our team! This individual will be responsible for maintaining the water quality of various pools and hot tubs located at our properties throughout the charming Bethany Village neighborhood. Qualified applicants will have a current Certified Pool Operators (CPO) license.  Typical schedule will be M - F 4am - 12:30pm.   

Responsibilities   

  • Maintain water quality according to and above state standards.

  • Required chemical checks every two hours during shift

  • Address all water chemistry issues

  • Maintain vacuuming schedule for all bodies of water

  • Maintain a safe and clean pool deck

  • Ensure safety equipment present and up to date

  • Ensure no hazardous materials or objects present

  • Maintain a washing schedule for both indoor and outdoor pool decks

  • Maintain a functional and organized pump room

  • Ensure pump filter baskets are clear and back-washed

  • Ensure heaters are operational

  • Check chlorine pumps for functionality and clean lines

  • Calibrate CAT boxes

  • Stock materials and make sure correct labeling 

  • Ensure chemical room is up to code and stocked

  • Fill chlorine barrels   

  • Ensure C02 tanks are full and operational

  • Work with Aquatics Manager to consistently improve facility procedures and standards

  Qualifications   

  • Current Certified Pool Operators (CPO) license

  • Must be able to lift, move, and handle chemicals responsibly

  • Must be reliable and a team player
